Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between this and a knee brace?
A knee brace wraps the whole joint and squeezes everything. It restricts movement, gets hot, and misses the spot where the problem actually is. ReliefStep puts targeted pressure on one specific point at the patellar tendon and directs the load away from it. The difference is like a flashlight versus a laser.
I've tried braces and knee sleeves before. Nothing helped. Why would this work?
Because those products weren't aimed at the right spot. Knee sleeves compress the whole knee. Braces lock the whole joint. Neither hits the tendon where the load actually builds up. That's why they didn't work – not because your knee is beyond help, but because you were solving the wrong problem.
It looks really small. Does it actually do anything?
We hear this a lot, and we get it. But a plaster is small too. A scalpel is smaller than a sledgehammer. Size isn't the point. Precision is. The strap is small because it only needs to cover one point.
Will it fit my knee?
Yes. The adjustable hook-and-loop strap fits all leg shapes and sizes – slim, athletic or fuller. No size chart. No measuring tape. Put it on, tighten, done.
Does it slip during workouts?
No. The silicone pad grips your skin and stays in place – through runs, lunges and long days on muddy trails.
Can I wear it all day?
Absolutely. Breathable materials mean no sweat, no itching and no discomfort, even through a ten-hour workday. Wear it under trousers, tights or socks. Invisible, but effective.
How do I know I'm wearing it correctly?
Find your kneecap. Place the silicone pad two finger-widths below it. Tighten until it sits firmly, but not tight. It takes ten seconds. If you need help, just send us a message and we'll guide you.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You have a 30-day return window. If you're not happy, contact us at
